Tiisetso Maloma Profile

I have thoroughly written about entrepreneurship, creativity, anxiety and self improvement. I am an entrepreneur and author of four books: The Anxious Entrepreneur, Forget the Business Plan Use this Short Model, Township Biz Fastrack and Tales of an African Entrepreneur. I created the EBC Business Model Checklist and Canvas.

I am a blogger at www.tiisetsomaloma.com.

Books

I became disillusioned with business plans because of their rigidity and tediousness, so I devised a short and easy model to use instead called EBC. It became the book Forget the Business Plan Use This Short Model.

I knew that how township businesses are started and grown, provide the best and most fascinating blueprint of lessons on starting an entrepreneurship venture; these are techniques any good start-up in the world employs to find traction and growth. I wrote a simple dissertation which became the book Township Biz Fastrack.

I am one of the most anxious people out there and I defuse it with creativity. It is all in my fourth book, The Anxious Entrepreneur: Anxiety Defeats Creativity – Creativity Defeats Anxiety.

What I do

Like a renaissance man, I am a serial doer and learner of things interesting to me. So far, I have undertook almost all the things I aspired to, all within the relatively short period of ten years; accountant, DJ, author, clothing labels, television, technology and a few others things.

In course of carrying out and learning about my multiple interests – I notice, discover, connect, test and device methods of doing and improving things. And I write about them.

I have many interesting stories to share about my continuing entrepreneurship journey. Certainly the route has been flawed and littered with brutal accidents. I tell it all on my blog here tiisetsomaloma.com. Make sure to subscribe.
