What Is An ‘Intellectual Blesser’ ?? (Appendix B)

/ˌɪntəlˈektjuəl/ _  /ˈblessahAn Intellectual Blesser, which is very much a divergent term from the frequently used word ‘Blesser’ in South Africa (which refers to a sugar daddy or one who lavishes gifts on a younger woman {Blessee} in return for her company or sexual favours). An Intellectual Blesser by definition refers to either a male or a female that bestows or shares knowledge with a subject that is either on par in terms of age, younger or older than them. The term though is not limited to only one who shares knowledge, an Intellectual Blesser might be a mentor, a teacher, a tutor, lecturer, a role model, a social influencer, a politician, a rapper, a writer/blogger such as myself or really just anyone who to this  day has added value to your life and made a meaningful contribution ‘intellectually’ to your life.

Examples of popular Intellectual Blessers by category
-Rapper (Nas, J Cole, Jabba, Tumi, Kendrick Lamar, Proverb, Tupac)
-Public speaking (Vusi Thembekwayo)
-TV Personalities (Oprah Winfrey, Bonang)
-Social Influencers (Cassper Nyovest, Khaya Dlanga)
-Innovators (Kanye West)
-Politics (Steve Biko, Thabo Mbeki, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi)
-Leadership (Nelson Mandela, Chief justice Mogoen Mogoeng)
-Business (Patrice Motsepe, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Sherly Sandberg, DJ sbu, Merissa Mayer)
-Writing (Paulo Coelho, JK Rowlling, Robin Sharma)
-Spiritual (Credo Motwa, Bhudda, Jesus)
-Fictional (Morpheus, Huey Freeman, Harvey Spector)

But like I said, not only limited to public figures, your boyfriend or nerdy friend who always helps with assignments and gives good business or relationship advice can be an intellectual blesser. We need to be fostering a culture which seeks to build and encourage many of us to not only have but to also become Intellectual Blessers.

See what I just did??? Turned something negative into a positive… This is Genius Level!
