Men! We Aught To Treat Our Women Better And Show More Appreciation For All They Do For Us And Humanity

By Logan Kgwane

Women are very special and great people, and they are worth more than we can ever Imagine. I mean there’s so much that they can do, especially to us, men.

A woman stands firm, endures, builds, rejoices,  conquers, supports, cares and loves. She is strong and will give you an everlasting happiness and joy. A woman can stand with her man through thick and thin, a woman can take blame and still give you respect, she understands the understandable and can still keep the relationship going. A woman can forgive her man a thousand times a day without her man begging her forgiveness, she can risk her happiness, her life for a man who isn’t worth it. She’s patient, she’s bold and she can sacrifice, she will give you a family and protect it.

But surprisingly at the end of the day, women do get less praise for the work they do and sometimes it appears as though they are less appreciated while they do so much, I mean why do we men torture them? Day in and day out there are cases of rape, assault, murder, etc, opened against men who do such to women, but why? Is that how we show our appreciation? Why not love and respect them?

Women are everything in this world and without them there’s no glory except God.
And speaking of God, why did God create women?
According to my own understanding, women were created to take care of nature, to grow and nurture, to guide and bear the fruits of life, they were created to be partners to Adam so that he was not alone and unhappy, and to both love each other till the end of time.

Women were brought here to balance our lives. Men and women combined are two halves of the image of God. An attack on either gender is an attack on God. They embody a side and perspective of God that we men don’t have and vise versa. So together we complete the circle.

A good woman does so much in a man’s life, her value can’t be measured. Nothing compares with a woman’s love:
– It is kind and compassionate, patient and nurturing, generous and sweet, unconditional and pure.
– When you are her man, she will walk on water and move mountains for you, no matter what you’ve done, no matter the time or demand.
– She will encourage you when you are down, give you light when walking in the dark.
– She will always walk and stand by your side, no matter the situation.
– She will talk to you until there are no more words to say
– She will hold you in her arms, comfort and give you the warmth of love.
– She will pick and shine you up when you are dusty.

A WOMAN’S LOVE STANDS THE TEST OF TIME.

So good people, why not let them know that everyday??? Why not appreciate and give thanks? Why do we have to wait for the month of August to celebrate their bravery when we can celebrate and embrace them throughout the year?

Women are the major players in our lives, the builders of our society. Not that I’m excluding men or saying they do less of the work, or maybe they do the less, tough and hard work, but let me explain and ask you this:

In the mining industry and many other business sectors, between the labour and the guy in a suit sitting on a royal chair in the office, who gets more work done but less pay and who gets the fattest pay cheque but less work done?
Obvious right? The guy in a suit gets the fattest pay cheque but less work done compared to the miners.
In this case, regardless of educational qualifications, I’m trying to refer women as the miners who gets more work done but less praises, the awards always goes to the ones sitting in the office.
Even though we do understand everyone’s got to have their work done, we understand that we have and we are in different levels but how hard is it to give praises to the ones on the ground? To praise where needed and due? Little things do matter the most.
These are our women, our sisters, our mothers and of the future generation. Let us love them as much as they love us, let us treat them well as much as we do to ourselves, let us praise the good that they do. Our women are beautiful, and not only by the clothes they wear or their external beauty, but their true beauty is reflected in their souls.

As Pheladi Sophy Tshesane said “you educate a man you educate a man…. You educate a woman you educate the whole generation”
