A Poem About Dineo… A chick Who Blew Me Away

A poem about Dineo… A chick who blew me away

She blew me away…
Yet I knew I wasn’t the only one… but
Her commanding eyes, presence, the way she swerved her hips and danced for me could only make me so naïve

Melodic with her tongue she’d have you swinging to her tune effortlessly
Tells me she traveled the world before, saddened by the heartbreaks she had caused along the way she has sworn to take it easy and settle this side

Tells me she has travelled miles and miles just to get to me
Exotic sister… I’m told she’s siblings with Mother mature

Legend has it she has had to cross the Indian Ocean past the South/East of Africa and finally made it to the South after she had heard of the passing of the rain queen up north

Tells me to not fall in love with her or else she might just do me what she did to the rest

Little did she know that I myself am not soo innocent- you see I was the Tornado that wreaked havoc in Tembisa a little less than a year ago

I might not be of the same scale as her but we all know that as much as Icarus’ dad had warned him not to fly too close to the sun, he had also warned him of flying too low close to the waves as his feathers might get wet and his wings will be too heavy to fly

Ambitious in my attempts
Rains Dops…
With my bad intentions hidden in plain sight

My life has never been too short of the trill

So lie to me… Lie to me so sweet as you blow me away mysterious Dineo
Because I also wanna have the bragging rights of having flirted, danced and gotten intimate with mother nature’s little sister
