Yet Another Senseless Blunder From The SABC, Nothing New Though

The court has found that the SABC’s decision to fire 4 of the 8 fired journalists who appeared in court on the 26th of July 2016 was illegal. The court ordered SABC to reinstate them with immediate effect, now the question remains what informed the decision to fire them in the first place?

The SABC 8 as they are referred to were fired for speaking out against the new proposed and failed illegal editorial policy by the SABC. With everything that is happening it is time to ask the eight questions_sorry I mean the right questions, is the SABC experiencing management melt down? Or was this a political plot to rescue the ANC ahead of the local elections like a lot of people allege? Is the SABC turning into a dictator? The worrying part is if the SABC can behave like this in public then I really wonder what their employees are going through.

Wait who is going to pay the legal cost of this unnecessary labor court battle? If SABC pays for this I think it will only make sense for the SABC to witch-hunt the people behind this blunder and hold them directly accountable for wasteful expenditure. The people behind this blunder are the once who fired the 4 journalist or if it is proved that they were following an executive order then that executive member is the one to be held accountable.

If the other 4 journalist are also reinstated by the order of the court it will only mean one thing, the management of the SABC is incompetent. There won’t be an explanation behind 8 illegal dismissals except complete incompetence.
