We see right through you, we see what you trying to do but pity times have changed and our noses can smell a rat from afar. So ANC gathered a group of celebrities whom openly endorsed ANC and since I’m business minded I wonder who paid who and for what? We all know how endorsements work.
Do not be naïve they are probably paying it forward, they probably trying to secure the next big gig. Have you heard come the 31st of July ANC is hosting what is expected to be a mother of all rallies. Artist are business people too, they just want to get paid like everyone so do not hate on them. ANC is a very big organization with a lot of influence, both directly and indirectly especially in the media and entertainment industry.
If I was an artist I doubt I would mind paying it forward by just sitting down and letting photographers and videographers document my presence. We have all seen artist who haven’t released an album in years performing at the ANC rallies and from the look of things they are being well taken care of. So call it butt kissing I call it “doing whatever it takes to survive” but let me foil the plot before the story even begins. We dance to their music but when politics are involved we listen to politician’s thank you.
Can it be that artists who openly affiliate to EFF or DA or any political party won’t be booked at ANC rallies/gigs/events? If that is the case then the highest bidder wins. Butt kissing here comes all artists…
