The bird perceives an “illness” as anything that it not normal in the way it lives. If the bird has been in a cage all it’s life it will perceive the cage as being it’s natural environment, and therefore perceive any other actions or surroundings, such as flying, as abnormal, or an “illness. That is why when someone tries to do something out of the ordinary, most look at them like they crazy. On the flip-side, staying in your comfort zone can be somewhat of an illness, so it just depends on how you look at things, choose your illness wisely.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” Steve Jobs
