The Claustrophobic Mime That Got Stuck In His Own Imaginary Box and Died

There once lives a famous mine who was so immersed in his work that he once got stuck in his own imaginary box.

For a couple of days, people thought that he was still in character, he later starved to death in his imaginary box and that was the end of him.

Sad story yeh? Maybe the sad part is the fact that it’s actually a true story – it happened in 1843. That was 175 years ago, the mind has evolved so much since then – can you imagine what your mind is capable of doing to date?

A lot of us are fast becoming prisoners of our minds, we keep our consciousness locked away from the outside world and all the endless possibilities that being curious and adventurous could bring.

Life does not have to be that way, there is so much more. One only needs to watch a Ted talk, read a book, connect and network with interesting people or simply just go on a jog or a walk to the park and let your inner curiosity come out to play.

Do you focus your mind mostly on the negative or do you immerse it in your dreams so much so that you live it in your mind before it turns real? The street mine chose to focus on being stuck in a box, imagine if you can channel your mind and become committed in your craft, imagine the endless possibilities that you can engineer and steer your mind into believing. You only need to focus your mind on your goals and you’ll become like the street mine – but in a positive line, determined and believing in your craft so much that you live it.
