South Africans Comment On The Damning Report By Viceroy On Capitec

By geniuslevels

February 04, 2018

– We cannot subject the macrostability of the financial market to a group of unknown sangomas.

– I have been with capitec for over a decade and I have been with 2 of the big banks as well. Will choose capitec even on my 3rd lifetime. I took a loan with them when I was still young and couldn’t pay it off, I ran away for almost a year, came back to bank with them with no harassment whatsoever, I personally called them to arrange to pay them off. There were no crazy additional costs incurred. To this day I sleep peacefully knowing my money is safe with them. The big guns are feeling the pain from these guys jus like Rupperts feeling the pain from the Guptas

– nna capitec refused to give a loan many times because of “affordability” saying my expenses are too high. ..I was angry but they made understand hore ke molao..jwale nna am generally happy ka bona ..they had given me loans bfr this occurrence of refusing to grant me a loan..so I believe they are law abiding decent bank

– Viceroy just wanted to buy Capitec shares at a lower pricer hence they caused a disturbance.

– I think this is done by other banks to get clients fromCapitec… Capitec is doing well

– I have a feeling that this news was created by Nedbank to try discredit Capitec bank in order for them to get back to number 4.

– They once forced to give me a R90k loan.i was so tempted but I refused eventually.they have a way of forcing u into it.

– For me Capitec is good for saving money but not for taking out loans. They are quicker to give out loans cos that’s where they make money through charging higher interest rates. Capitec is running a business and it has to make a profit, if everything is cheaper about them, how are they making a profit? Obviously they capitalize on the high interest they charge on their loans. Most black people don’t even have time to compare what they are being charged…just saying.

– I think viceroy should leave capitec alone im happy withcapitec and investigate CELL C now those are real crooks

– Those corporate thugs need to sit down & let Capitec Bank be…

– I can withdraw my last R20 on Capitec, try it on other banks and you will see flames

– With Capitec I don’t get charged for walking past the ATM.like other banks do.

– Viceroy wanted the share price to drop so they could make more money.remember viceroy is a short seller after all.even though there’s some truth on the report, but the whole idea is architect to them benefiting more.

– Viceroy had too much to drink, banxile yi viceroy xeim

– The big fat cats I mean the big frauds, eish this autocorrect though.I want to say ABSA,STANDARD BANK,FNB,NEDBANK, are ganging up on Capitec because “she”refuses to steal from the people

– Banks have different ways of scoring their customers, some are strict and some less strict, it doesn’t mean the bank that lends to someone declined elsewhere is reckless

– They once refused me a loan cos they could not verify my employment

– They once refused me a loan cos they could not verify my employment

– Le me go take a loan il tel u kabo 3..what I no is I hev R2000 ko capitec n next tym I withdraw it ..it wil b 2000 ko absa marete a bona they ma give me 1875..

– Capitec doesn’t force anyone to take a loan plus they are transparent. They have provided millions of South Africans will a cheaper way to bank, have no special clients etc. Kawume nge revolution ekseni buti

– I only know of viceroy brandy 😎😎😎

– They must have confused the Capi for Capitalist kanti banyile it’s for #CapitalTechnology 😂

– They once refused me a loan cos they could not verify my employment

– My first account application for credit was with Edgars, i had never had any account, they declined me, i went to Truworths, they gave me one. Was still a student and working part time. Got a steady job few years later, applied for a cellphone contract at Vodacom, was declined more than once, i went to MTN, i was approved at one go. Should i run to Viceroy and let them investigate why that happened? every business has its own ways of going about their business, its not a guarantee that you will be approved a loan at Capitec jus like in any other institute. Jealousy must fall

– Do unsecured loans need credit vetting? There’s another aspect of Capitec where they set monthly targets of between R200 000 & R500 000 for their agents. That is 1 reason u’re most likely to be pushed to take the maximum loan amount that the bank can give u.

– Capitec is tht aunt u knw will always back u up…so pls umona phantsi

– The only they should investigate it’s the bottle store and and see if they sell viceroy by the correct prices #shiya phansi i capitec

– Above all, CAPITEC had created a lot of employment for young black youth and paying them fairly.

– Clearly they drink too much viceroy, problem is Capitec its a SA brand so it understands people of Mzansi

– Hei leave our capitec alone plzz

– These Viceroy people!!! What are they drinking????? #handsoffmycapitec

– Basically what viceroy is saying is capitec is giving loans to African people in Africa which according to them is illegal.

– These corporate thugs like to see us down and keep us there many times ppl hv been denied 🙅 loans by the “legit banks” now that we ain’t begging them they come up with this load of Bullshit!

– They must start with African Bank the biggest loan shark, where you pay for rest of your life and leave Capitec Bank…

– They must start with African Bank the biggest loan shark, where you pay for rest of your life and leave Capitec Bank…

– I’ve seen this happen at least once and I believe viceroy.

– The only bank that gives credit to the African population gets dragged in the mud. Ask yourself why!

– They refused mine due to bad credit

– Viceroy is saying that Capitec gives credits to delinquent customers. Then sell the loans. All the comments and the post itself is missing point.

– I will die and be barried at Capitec bank I go nowhere

– Viceroy is American, SARB is south African.

– Other banks offered me a loan with an interest rate above 20%. Capitec gave me a lower interest rate of 14%. This big banks wanna close down capitec cos it’s attracting alot of black people

– Nna I had a bad experience with my loan repayment. Loan Sharks never again!

– What I like more ka Capitec is that we’re all “Gold” card holders, talk about levels kwedin’ 😎😎

– You have people who can’t pay back their loans to any bank anywhere in the world. These American companies and their cronies are bullies. Capitec has been doing extremely well the last few years even on a global scale and it’s fast becoming a threat

– They want to find out how they do it by FORCE, then copy it..

– I don’t care what the report says, m happy at capitec n m going bushiri followers on this matter

– Kere capitec clients ba swana le Chiefs fans, hahahaha Okase ba botje selo

– Weren’t they guilty of reckless lending some months ago… I know of people who couldn’t get loans elsewhere but capitec approved them… Now I don’t know the criteria they use but I remember they and African bank if not mistaken taken to account for suspected reckless lending….

– There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Capitec, I think Viceroy has to look into companies like Vodacom and MTN.
